When your favorite rappers tell their stories, you don't turn into judges.
This happens alot tho...
The problem is these secondary/weed carrier rappers don't be asking for publishing cuz they trying to be "team players" and/or they fear being exiled...
But lot of hooks etc are built from people other than the rapper themselves..

Murphy Lee already said Ali was lying about a lot of things in those same interviews...

I watched the entire interview and I feel like he is telling the truth for the most part. The thing that he was the most adamant about was how Nelly DIDNT look out for everybody and how it seemed like he just said “fukk everybody”. Obviously it doesn’t look like he did so because he did attempt to put Murphy Lee on and “blow” him up but was Lee signed to Nelly?
Ali was basically useless outside of writing etc. because he had already gave up his distribution in a previous deal so why would Nelly put his name on any paperwork? I wouldnt have either but where is there any type of compensation, you could still break that man off under the table IMO if he did help.
The other thing that gets me is that he was asked what was the biggest amount he had ever made in a year and he gave a nice amount but he also said he was never compensated when he was named predsident of Derrty Ent. and I can’t even think where he would have gotten the amount he quoted without it being from Nelly pocket. That’s why I say “for the most part”. I think he was compensated to an extent, maybe not as much as he should have been but he fukked himself when he signed that shytty ass contract from the beginning which had NOTHING to do with Nelly outside of him trying to make sure EVERYONE got on. Great decision when you’re thinking about your friends but lousy business decision.

Because Ali literally kept saying you could ask all the other guys (including Murphy)
Issue is, everyone is trying to get on as a team when they're struggling together. They make a team album under "Nelly", Nelly blows up and he should have been kicking back something to them, even under the table. But that good life becomes way too good and dudes start to change.
Ali was very detailed in every facet of what h said. A liar can't concoct all of that and speak to it in depth. If he wasn't telling 100 % truth, well this was 24-25 years ago when they started writing stuff. Memory isn't perfect but the overall gist seems concrete
