How Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Learned to Play by Washington’s Rules
Just gonna shytpost with some seriousness. Looks like all Dems are the same The DC machine is too strong and there's no hope for the Democratic party. She wasn't the first and won't be the last person to find out
Article is terrible, calls progessive policy divisive and basically the NYT is saying "ah glad you fell in line" but the optics aren't good when they said that they replaced AOC's old chief of staff with a former Kamala aide and said she's "well-versed in the workings of Capitol Hill" in other words her new AIPAC expert
House dems leaked that internal poll that said AOC ain't shyt and reeled her in It's already out there they'd redistrict her. She means well and believes the things she said but Pelosi got her by the neck now When they get you to submit once, they know they can keep getting you to do it forever
On one hand you understand her play but on the other hand there are even more vulnerable people like Ilhan keeping up the fight against something extremely powerful
All hail the gawd Pramila Jayapal -- a fierce advocate for Medicare-for-all, organizing with activists and unions for its support in her area and doesn't care about her Twitter fame
