You can't win the Super Bowl with checkdowns and eating -8 yard sacks.

big difference that I've seen in Kaep so far. He'll stretch the play and find the open man, or get out of the tackle box and get rid of the ball.

Alex Smith DID NOT lose his job because of injury.

Kapernick is a better QB than him. Thats why he lost his job. If Kapernick wet the bed against the Bears, which was certainly possible, Smith would have kept the job as starting QB.

They weren't going to sit him and put in Kaep unless he got hurt.

and if Kaepernick pulls in an Alex Smith-like performance, Smith is starting in New Orleans.

the injury gave Kaepernick the opportunity, but his play (and Alex Smith's play) is what got him the starting job. Not Alex Smith's injury.

I have to be frank when I say that Im sick of this "you cant lose your job to injury" shyt. Yes you can, people lose jobs all the fukking time for less let alone someone performing well at your position. Who made this shyt up ? Im not going to play you if I feel someone else will gives my team a better chance. Period.

I do kinda feel sorry for him. He seems like a good dude who worked hard to get to where he was despite a limited skillset (compared to elite QBs). He only lost the job because he was unfortunate to get hurt.

But that's the nature of the business. :yeshrug:

Maybe he'll learn from the experience and be more aggressive when he inevitably gets another chance at a starting job, whether it's with the 9ers or after he gets cut before next year.

You can't win the Super Bowl with checkdowns and eating -8 yard sacks.

You can if the team has a good ass defense which the 49ers have. The defense is what's gonna win the super bowl for the 49ers not fukking Alex Smith or Big Kap.

I can only imagine how much better Kaep has looked in practice compared to this bum, he needs to stop crying to the media and have some self-respect.

“I could absolutely care less on yards per game,” Smith said in May. “I think that is a totally overblown stat because if you’re losing games in the second half, guess what, you’re like the Carolina Panthers and you’re going no-huddle the entire second half. Yeah, Cam Newton threw for a lot of 300-yard games. That’s great. You’re not winning, though.”
too bad harbaugh doesn't share these same thoughts:troll:

He should be glad that he was able to stay a starter for this long

Kaep pretty much did have an Alex Smith like performance in NO, aside from about 2 passes.

He was 16/23 with 1 td and 1 int and a rushing TD.

NO game wasn't as impressive as the Chicago game
