On days you drink just take out those calories you're drinking from your carb and fat intake. So let's say you drink 4 vodka sodas, that is about 70 calories each for a total of 280 calories. You just eat 280 calories less in carbs and fat which comes out to about HALF a 6 inch meatball sandwich.
problem is those drinks contain empty calories, make you dehydrated, stimulates your appetite, then impairs your judgement on what to eat.
normally when i drink i get drunk i drink as much beer as i can, eat a ton of fast food, pass out, then wake up too hungover to go to the gym. its like a domino effect of negatives.
but i cant stop
last time i tried to lose weight i would only drink 2 nights a week...stick to low carb beer...then feast on protein only when i got home. counting the carbs really helps cause it forces you to ask yourself 2 or 3 times if you REALLY want another beer...
getting in shape is definitely a lifestyle change. but when that change is too drastic people are more likely to go back to their old ways. i think it should be more gradual so people can get better adjusted...which is why i wouldnt recommend cutting alcohol just like that (if u really into getting drunk like i am)
