I like this a lot more today. Really ready for a 320 version though, it's not bad on the instrumentals, but the vocals sound bad at 160. No complaints though, I never thought this would leak a month out.

Yeah the vocals seem to get lost at times, had half a mind to fukk around and try and eq that shyt... till the whiskey started flowing.

I'd love to hear what the official release sounds like I can't wait, this album is akin to puffing on some creeper, it does nothing at first........ then it hit's you like :ohhh: "I'd better sit down"

It's definitely an album for a reflective mood, it's not the type you throw on for the fukk of it.

Who said the west was dead?

They've been carrying on with tings for a while now, especially for those of us that refuse to allow music to be pigeon holed.

Oh and FaShawn is still a problem.

The west has been making the best music for a while now both on the production and rapping side of things. There's so much talent out there it's ridiculous. Even people that don't live out there are traveling out there for extended periods of time to record and make music with people that do (see Action Bronson or Roc Marciano, to name a couple.) The west is a gold mine again.

I really think the vocals will sound cleaner on the GroupRip. And yeah, Fashawn is a problem. Look forward to him on the Step Brothers album if he doesn't have anything coming out between now and then.

Speaking of the west what's happened to Pac Div?

I was rooting for them something serious.

They dropped The DiV last November: iTunes - Music - The Div (Deluxe Version) by Pac Div

It was pretty dope. It came out 4th quarter so a lot of people missed that it came out I think.

the production was :gladbron:

but i wanted more rapping and when there was rapping it was too short

Concept album man. I feel the same way. Unfortunately, I don't think we'll see another 1st Infantry/Chemical Warfare style album for a few years, if not forever :to:
I was impressed by some of these cats I hadn't heard of though. No one on the album really spit garbage. Everyone did good, and I'll be looking into some new cats now and checking out their material.

Just as it was just getting good
I rather get 90 secs of fire at a time than 3:30 with a wack / unneccessary verse in there, I like the record and I think the variety and the beat changes make it an easier listen from front to back. A couple of the instrumentals could probably have been taken out and replaced with verses. I'll fukk with this for a little while because i won't get bored with it and i'll find gems as i go along.
