Was gonna say the same thing. Chicken & Beer is what made me a fan, my older bro was a Ludacris stan and he copped Chicken and Beer and we played it nonstop (come to think about it this digital age with fast food music makes us not really appreciate the shyt anymore, actually owning a physical copy and bumping it on the boombox those were the days :ahh:, I think I used to know the lyrics to damn near every song def at least a 4 mic album to me and a personal classic. I even thought Chingy went in on that "We got them guns" posse cut :russ:

"I used to snore in my sleep til this rap shyt started"

yeah i never met anyone who disliked Chicken and Beer. That shyt was dope as fukk.

But yeah I really enjoyed Theatre Of The Mind, but I know that album didn't get alot of love. Truthfully, Luda has one of the best discographies to me, not really groundbreaking but always entertaining. Outside of Battle Of The Sexes I can throw on any Luda album and just let it play and i will enjoy it for the most part. and his intros are always dope as fukk too

Beats, Rhymes, and Life. It's weird how nikkas hated so much on albums Dilla worked on like that and the second Pharmacyde album, but now praise him as a genius. johnny come latelys
i think it was more a reaction to the change in Tribe's beat style. you have to admit it's different to anything they did before and just didn't have that same vibe
