The production is unreal. I hate auto tune rap so not really a fan of travis’ verses and he’s not the best rapper either but he can make a dope cohesive project. This is good

Father n Son

I listened to Astroworld again and i like it a lot more. Production is the star, so if you listen with the proper expectation of nothin being said, this shyt proper
:pachaha: I laugh at anyone expecting Kendrick or Cole type verses on this album. Dude is a producer first then a rapper.
Nobody I knew growing up expected a Dre, Pharell or even a Kanye album to have Dumb it Down type lyrics.

As a DJ some of these beat transitions are awful. The highlights here are the beats and the features. Travis said a whole lot of nothing but that was expected

He didn’t? His name comes up on the credits for AstroThunder,RIP Screw and Stop Trying to be God
He "co-produced" those with people who actually make beats. He's def more of a rapper than a producer. Owl Pharaoh is the last time he actually produced and even on there it was mostly co-producing with legitimate producers.
