Never even heard of amnesia. But it looks good. I'll prolly check it out sometime this month.
Except that on mainstream sites there's an editorial staff that approves the review before it goes out. I know you'd like to make it seem how Starfield was received as some rogue fanboys with agendas against it but having put at least 10 hours into the game I see why it got low to mid 80s scores.I’m saying I totally agree with you.
Review scores are driven by bias and agendas. A reviewer may play Hogwarts and generally enjoy the game, but also hate JK so they give the game a 7.5 instead of an 8.
A reviewer may be a huge Spider-man fan, reviewing the game in his spider-man jammie’s and want the game to get great discourse and win GOTY nominations so they score a perfect 10 despite fighting through some bugs and other deficiencies to get there.
A “bad game can be anywhere from a 1 to a 6 depending on how much a reviewer may want to tank the score.
We’ve seen plenty of troll review scores where it’s clear the reviewer just wanted to generate clicks and discourse one way or another.
Trying to compare these scores as objective reality is where the problem lies.
Again, no two games on MC even have the same reviewers or the same amount of reviewers giving scores. So how the hell do you compare two scores and try to draw any kind of objective conclusion?
shyt don’t work like that.
Not all sites have that. MC takes in hundreds of scores.Except that on mainstream sites there's an editorial staff that approves the review before it goes out. 86 on xbox=“fell flat on its face”I'm going to give it another shot but it's a well enough made game held back by questionable design choices. This game is never going to beat back the fact that the main cast is bland as hell and unmemorable, the constant fast travel robbing players of a sense of organic exploration, and the heavy leaning into procedurally generated content to artificially attempt to extend play instead of leaning into handcrafted content. Bethesda completely misjudged what people enjoyed most about their games and this fell flat on it's face.

I said nothing about starfiled. You did.

86 on playstation =“Goty material, one of the best games ever”
Sony stan’s
My point exactly. Them scores don’t mean shyt83, nikka
Love how Xsharts will alternate between the Xbox score and the PC score depending on what's higher. nikkas been calling Hi-Fi Rush an 89 game, meanwhile it's 87 on the Tower of Power.
Cac reviews? My point exactly. Them scores don’t mean shyt
I don’t read pitchfork and watch the grammies to decide what music is good for me.Cac reviews?
I don’t read pitchfork and watch the grammies to decide what music is good for me.
Don’t know why y’all do that with games
also, a music album and a video game is an entirely different financial and time commitment
An aggregate of about 99 people I wouldn’t trust with a water recommendationMC is an aggregation of scores you retard.
Unless you think only white people can write reviews
An aggregate of about 99 people I wouldn’t trust with a water recommendation
especially, specifically trying to take two scores and say one game is objectively better cause it has a few extra MC points.
