So what are the disagreements here? That he should or shouldn't be charged, he should or shouldn't be allowed to play, he should or shouldn't be expelled, etc?

Based on what I'm reading, he has plausible deniability that the gun was going to be used to murder someone. Especially by a person who didn't even own the gun.

i think myself and a few others are wanting the University of Alabama to hold Miller accountable in some form, most likely at least some sort of suspension. IIt just looks gross and callous to act as if Miller golly gee wiz'd himself into a situation when there is proof that he likely knew Miles had intent to use a firearm in some sort of confrontation. While none of this is illegal, the collective lapses in judgement from the players resulted in a young woman/mother being killed.

How Bama and Oats are saying "welp no harm no foul" :yeshrug: is shameless and demonstrates a complete lack of character from the program, especially in regards to their treatment of Black lives. If anything Miller should be suspended as a lesson of "be careful who you associate with"but I guess all that rah rah "we are teaching boys to be men" talk is only good for recruitment videos.

The text said: "I need my joint a n****r rl jus got a fakin."

If you get that text at 1:38am from someone asking you to bring them a loaded gun to the streets and you don't realize what's up, you're a fukking idiot.
That’s kinda where I’m at on things. At best, this kid is very young and very dumb. At worst he’s an accessory.

If he wasn’t a hell of a hooper they’d probably have kicked him off the team just on GP

That text doesn't indicate they were about to commit a crime or shoot someone. It sounds more like some shyt went down and he needed protection.

lol at "I need protection, but rather than just leaving the situation at 1:40am or going back to campus, I need you to drive over to bring me a loaded gun right here where the danger is."

That's some of the stupidest shyt I've heard. Instead of bringing his ass a gun, why not just tell him to LEAVE? Guns are offensive weapons, they don't block gunshots, how the fukk is a gun going to help him if he thinks someone about to do something? Why not just LEAVE the place where you think it will go down first? Go home and you can play with your gun from the safety of your home if you chickenshyt like that.

and if im the coach of THE TEAM id like to think id want to send a message to my players about critical thought in regards to myself AND THE TEAM. Critical thought that neither Miller, Miles and possibly even Jalen Bradley didnt demonstrate.

shyt, Oats doesnt even have to call it a suspension. Call it "temporary leave due to having witnessed a traumatic event".

Nate Oats, if he werent a selfish, opportunistic CAC: "After the horrifying events of that fateful night, I saw that a few of the Players werent mentally ready to be back due to feeling real sorrow for Ms. Harris and having conflicted feelings about Darius involvement. I had them see campus counseling and thought it best if they take a night off to reflect on everything. I also reached out to the family of Ms. Harris and offered my sincerest condolences."

See? See how easy that was? See how the University and Oats couldve done that without implicating Miller?

Thats why I say yall being emotional the police themselves had cleared this youngster.If anything he's guilty of is not picking jis teammate up earlier. He never left the car and pulled off from the confrontation until the victims car pulled behind him.The two men in the wrong in jail why yall want to publicly lynch this dude for something a freinds freind did?

I just realised that @CrimsonTider is the WOAT constantly @ing me into shooting threads about how judges are too soft and violence needs stronger consequences. Straight up said, "And no I don’t give a fukk about black criminals. I care about the victims, their families and the neighborhoods."

He's seriously dumping all his principles solely because it's Alabama. All the sudden he don't give a shyt about the victims, he's just here to shout "Roll Tide!" cause Brandon Miller scored 40 in a sports game.

these devils need to pay but aren’t you arguing with me HL about our justice system locking too many people up?
Not admitting many people to jail, is the same shyt it not putting people in city jail because of Covid treatment issues

you really think all this robbing and killing is due to pandemic stresses :mjlol:

So I ask for the 100th time. What do you do about the increase in murders and robberies?
a local government doesn’t have the tools to combat systemic racism

y’all ain’t never been around the streets and it shows. There’s too many illegal guns and theres too many repeat offenders being let out of city jail

that’s why crime is up everywhere

There needs to be some type of community override of a judges decision because these criminals aren’t going to live in the judges neighborhood they’re going back terrorize where they came from.
Why should anyone care if someone with a DUI can afford cash bail or not?

Y’all place emphasis on the wrong shyt. Don’t drive under influence

The thread says we have a JUDGE PROBLEM.
I don’t care whether or not someone charged with a violent crime or DUI can afford bail

There’s no mechanism in place to stop these people from continuing to terrorize or black people

And no I don’t give a fukk about black criminals . I care about the victims, their families and the neighborhoods
Should that decision be solely on the judge?

The judge grants this guy the ability to go back to terrorizing Blake people? Should there not be something that makes sure the community isn’t in threat?
@mastermind @Rhakim

I keep trying to tell y’all. We have a repeat offender issue in this country

:what:

nikkas have always inherited beef. You sound crazy
Don’t commit crimes if you can’t afford bail

You feel sorry for a nikka crashing out and has to stay in jail to the Trial because he’s broke. Foh

Separate criminals from society. Most crime is done by repeat offenders

Find some people worth it to feel sorry about it
Released on 40k bail.

@Rhakim come type a wall of text for me
and I pose the question to you. What do you do about crime?
So people charged with violent crimes deserve bail?
Nah man they need basketball courts and therapy

@The Hon. Stringer Bell

do you not understand Sarcasm?

anyway there are people on this site that don’t believe criminals should be put in jail @Rhakim @mastermind
Sure buddy

No cash bail and signature bail is the way to go
When I say this

@Rhakim and @mastermind call me a Republican
@Rhakim

come in here and tell me how these fukkboys need bail
@Rhakim

we need chess clubs

I'm pretty sure it's because when an angry-ass guy needed a loaded gun to put in some work at 1:40am, he went and got it for him.

“I need my joint a n****r rl jus got a fakin.”

The intent there is so obvious that some of y'all had to straight make up a story that he had never seen that text.

He never left the car and pulled off from the confrontation until the victims car pulled behind him.

Can you substantiate that or is this more wishful thinking? I've already caught y'all making up your own facts about the case, so I'm not believing anything you don't have evidence for.
