I think the thing is it's so old that people either forgot or were too young.
Sharpton is not really relevant to anything that matters that I can think of as well.
If you think about it in the political context, he is. He is always the forefront for Democrats for race issues and Republicans always bring him and Jesse up to counteract the black argument. In the end..it's both parties choosing Jesse and Al to be the spokespeople for Blacks. They have self-appointed these two sell-out clowns.

When the FBI built their case against the Mafia, how many low level Black street dealers got locked up or flipped as collateral damage? As we saw with the Whitey Bulger case, high level Mafia guys are more valuable on the street as CI's than in jail.
What's troublesome about this information coming out is the idea that there are more criminal informants within our community, who instead of being locked up for committing crimes, have instead been empowered by our government tax dollars to continue their ongoing criminality.
Was Al working for the Feds as a spoiler when he ran for President and split the Black vote?
What would have happened in the impossible situation had he won the Democratic nomination or actually gone on to be president?
Was Al empowered in his unelected "leadership" of the Black community because he was a criminal, not in spite of?
What was the exact nature of his Sharptons relationship with Jimmy Henchman?
If this site had an incognito function, I'd go in further on Wycleff running for office in Haiti, John Fortes presidential pardon, Jimmy Henchmans activities within the industry, but I'm not bout that life. Sharpton clearly wasn't against selling drugs in the community as evidenced by his attempting to buy drugs. And that wasn't why he was helping the Feds.
