bombs cant destroy a ideologyI'm tired of this. We should just bomb them to oblivion. If they were to rise again, bomb them again. Rinse. Repeat.
one dies, they just multiply

A new ideology will be formed then. Stockholm Syndrome. If a person's cousin Ahmed doesn't stop fukking around with Al Qaeda their friends and family will be demolished. So what do you think they're going to do to Ahmed?
It does still exist in a certain extent, the core of players that were involved in the late 90's and early 2000's are mostly dead but their ideology carries on. it's actually gaining momentum in the Arab world with Syrian terrorist affiliated Al Qaeda groups being funded and trained by Western countries or Arab monarchies and the hateful corrupt Turkish regime. There are hundreds of armed and funded groups in Syria now, mostly with an AQ ideology, where the goal is to create an islamic state, some groups are even too extreme and have been shunned by Al Qaeda like ISIS but most of them are still getting US weapons via Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuweit, Turkey which are all rooting for these groups to win. I was always wary of all the conspiracy theory crap I'd hear but no one's even hiding that US weapons are ending up in Al Qaeda hands in Syria. Now the Yemeni branch is still unrelated to the Syrian branch so they're still our enemies, but a simple round trip to Syria and they're no longer prone to drones and they might as well get some CIA salary wherever we know who they are or not.
They are our enemy but when their cause aligns with the Israeli and Saudi cause, they become neutral to us, we stop covering their massacres and start calling them activists.
I know what you're getting at and TBH, I could care less.
Bashar is the real terrorist buddy, regardless of what the internet says
You keep forgetting that the internet is rooting against Bashar
Although they should root for him while he's on such a roll, he's killed more of these idiots than the US did in a decade probably.
dam brehs word is they killed Ibrahim Hassan al-Asiri in that strike in yemen
'Massive' attack on al Qaeda in Yemen
dam brehs word is they killed Ibrahim Hassan al-Asiri in that strike in yemen
