Becuz the guy is 2-3 in his last 5 fights.

As long as you dont hide behind Floyd's bullshyt reasoning for picking Berto over the rest of those dudes.

I don't care about tying or passing Marciano.

The same Khan that smoked Luis Collazo who Berto had trouble with. Porter even with his one lost has a better current resume than Berto. And Soto Karass has 9 losses but he has 28 wins. One of those wins against Berto. And you gone call out Thurman for beating Ghost when he smacked Berto up?

But for whatever reason, Berto fighting Floyd intrigues you.

Hey man, I am not your enemy. Watching boxing intrigues me, has nothing to do with Berto. We're about 3-4 messages deep when all I said was using the phrase of "genuine fan" was incorrectly used. I've given you an out twice....now for a third time....as a "consumer" if it is hard for Floyd to "sell" this fight to YOU, then I understand....can't spend your money for you. As a genuine fan of boxing, I'm watching it, regardless if it's box office gold or not. The same reason why I'll tune in for Cunningham vs Tarver old ass tonight. I wanna watch boxing. And if it costs me $75 to sit on my couch with my friends to watch a fight, then so be it. Like I mentioned earlier, there are "genuine fans" paying way more this week to watch preseason football when the product is significantly watered down...just because they wanna see football. Nothing more, nothing less. That's a genuine fan. No someone whining about be "sold" something.

I get it now and I can agree with you that as a GENUINE FAN of the sport that I will be watching as well. But what I don't with or believe for a second is that somehow someway this fight is intriguing when about 3 other fights could have been made with better opponents. I, like you, will be watching Tarver/Cunningham tonight as well for no other reason than if there is a fight on my TV, I am watching it. Hell I'll skip out on the Super Bowl if there is a fight on that night.

But I have a hard time believing that this is an intriguing fight when two or three dudes that Flod could have picked from have beaten Berto and beat him rather convincingly.

And as a fan, as well as being a consumer, I can "whine" about it if it doesn't make sense to me. Just like Wilder getting ready to get another soft touch after already having a soft touch. You can enjoy the sport all you want but quality comes in to place at some point.
