Some rumors on some forums/site say that Jay became paranoid that AJ would cheat on him when she was signed by WWE, which wasn't the case, and called off their engagement. She then dated Trent Baretta, but Trent screwed up and cheated with a ring rat, and so that relationship went kaput. AJ stayed away from the relationships for a while to focus more on getting things done in her career, but then of course along came Punk, and the rest is history.
