I see what you're saying here, but the thing with Washington and racism was that the racial categories (except for white, which has since expanded to include people like the Irish and Italians) in the US were mostly the same as they are today, and there were people in his time who opposed slavery and racism, so those concepts were around, too. I'm not sure it's accurate to say that he wasn't a racist even by the standards of his time, even if his was the opinion of the majority.
Also pedophilia purely concerns prepubescence, but you're right that such a classification did not exist at the time. Besides, only if Muhammad had fixated exclusively on prepubescent girls would he be a pedophile. Still, if she was indeed 9, though, menstruating or not, I can't cosign.
