That’s not true. Women are still trying to get those positions. The issue is that US airlines can’t push out the old women just because they got old and fat. So now the flights are full of old women and gay dudes. A lot of young women are working other behind the scenes jobs until they can move into the flight attendant role.

The international airlines don’t have that problem. They don’t give a fukk about equality. Once you get old or fat they remove you from that flight attendant job.

Yeah my lil cousin was just complaining over Thanksgiving about how the old bytches at the airlines won't move on to other jobs and let her and her friends in to those positions. There's this broad I know, waited like 10 years before she finally was able to start her training to be a flight attendent... she was 40 by the time she got the call. These old hoes and queers be gatekeeping hard in that shyt. They going through what the skilled trades went through like 20 years ago, only problem for flight attendants is they didn't have two generations basically completely skip over that career field so they got a long ass waiting list. Aint like that in the trades anymore, all the old gatekeeping mufukkas either died or retired and that has been glorious for me because I am one of the more experienced electricians now and if I ask for a raise they give it to me with no fight because they need me more than I need them.
