The game has changed. Attractive young women ain’t trying to deal with all that stress and craziness. That job isn’t as glamorous as they made it seem and ppl have more options.

That’s not true. Women are still trying to get those positions. The issue is that US airlines can’t push out the old women just because they got old and fat. So now the flights are full of old women and gay dudes. A lot of young women are working other behind the scenes jobs until they can move into the flight attendant role.

The international airlines don’t have that problem. They don’t give a fukk about equality. Once you get old or fat they remove you from that flight attendant job.

Curious myself. I dont know if this is true still. Used to be but i remember a while back there was a pilot shortage because the wave of vietnam era vets was declining.

Now i think theres actually a bad jobs market for pilots: entry level at least.

These foreign carriers get it. I flew Singapore Airlines for the first time this year and every chick on that flight was pretty, slim, and under 40. ANA was the same way, every woman was in shape and mostly attractive. I saw some of the Emirates flight attendants walking through the terminal and boi... I gotta get my paper up.

airlines prolly have to take whoever they can get for those jobs. i wouldnt want to imagine doing that job, having to babysit a bunch of rude and entitled a$$holes, especially as a woman. and they serve alcohol? they probably get groped all the time by creeps. i have seen countless plane fukkery videos (and turbulence) online that i think i'd rather take a bus

im also a coward. ive flown three times in my life and basically got on my knees and kissed the ground the last time. we hit turbulence when landing in baltimore at night and the lights were flickering. i also didnt know (on my first flight) that they basically turn the plane off when they land and glide down. my a$$hole was in my throat that day.
