This stuff looks so forced coming from her, especially when you compare it to her early look and personality in interviews/vlogs. Like she's being straight up exploited hoping it helps her career and it's doing nothing. It's not convincing and as such, it distances her from her (potential) fanbase. When rih rih hit us with GGGB and R, she owned that dark, mysterious, raunchy look/act...it was compelling, interesting and captivating. tinashe, on the other hand, comes across like the chick in "beyond the lights", she's gonna be sitting on a balcony ledge real soon.

she's a girl next door small town chick it don't work for her. she was never putting herself out there like that until the album did less than expected. someone somewhere thinks that more skin is gonna lead to album sales. it don't.

The fact she's been signed for a few years and still hasn't figured out her indenity isn't a good look. I fully expect Tinashe to get dropped sooner than later. She's doesn't have the looks or appeal to become a crossover pop star. I mean don't get me wrong she's attractive but she isn't "sexy". Rihanna and Beyonce sex Appeal feels and look natrual unlike Tinashe who is a lame lowkey. You can tell she isn't comfortable of being half naked in front of the camera putting toy cars in her mouth lol.

I thoroughly enjoyed most of her work but I don't see her lasting a long time unfortunately.

Really? I need to go back and check out her interview and music from a few years ago then cause like I said I just started paying attention to her in the last few months so I don't know.

That Nightride project is really good and what she should base her sound on going forward. It's kind of like a female Weeknd sound.

She has to give up trying to be sexy too, because that doesn't work for her. She has the girl next door image/appeal but she refuses to embrace it. Seems like she's still figuring out her identity. That happens with everyone when they're young though. :yeshrug:

That pop garbage they keep making her put out for singles doesn't show off her vocal talent. She can definitely sing:

Tell me that isn't who you'd want to take to a ball game @stomachlines :noah:

Ok, I just finished checking out her 1st 3 mixtapes. All 3 were pretty good, I like Black Water and In Case We Die the most. In Case We Die is real chill and laid back.

But that Black Water mixtape is the truth. She did a great job sampling and singing over TTT's Anniversary for Just A Taste :wow:

She needs to go back to her original style before 2On. She was never a pop artists really but because she's so pretty they try to put her in that lane. She has music and skills that go much deeper than that. She writes and produces and I just don't think her label is allowing her to be as creative as she needs to be in order to be a great artist. Every artist is not meant to be forced to try to be a pop superstar. She can have her own lane where she can eat and have a solid fanbase if she just was allowed to do her own thing. Fire her team, find herself and come back stronger.

The finest R&B singer since Christina Milian? :mjlol:

As for Tinashe, I don't see her being bigger than she is now. Everyone isn't meant to be a star. :manny:

Yes :leostare:
