Well unfortunately if you make a movie about Batman as he really is (flawless, fearless, perfect mind, supreme confidence, supreme willpower, uncanny deduction skills, scientific brilliance, uncompromising discipline, unyielding spirit)... you don't really have a lot of places to go as it pertains to a character arc. Which is cool for comics and cartoons and shyt like that cause of their long episodic nature but for a 2 hour self contained movie I think people wanna see the main character make some kind of emotional journey before it's all over.

Unless of course you go the Bond route.
Yet somehow they continue to come up with excellent stories for the character in comics despite being all that :usure:

Which is why I said they gotta go the Bond route like Marvel did. No arc. No beginning, middle and end. Just an ongoing mythology with stand alone adventures.

Fight was dope...best thing about the movie. The movie overall though? :patrice: Just betrayed too much of the character for me. NO WAY is Bruce quitting being Batman for anything unless he absolutely couldn't do it anymore from a physical standpoint and just because he lost a woman he loved? This is the same man who lost his parents and became Batman. Lost his Robin and went twice as hard to fight crime harder than before. I know a lot of cats on here don't like the Marvel movies and I too have some issues with them but they're always true to the character and the character motivations. Batman's detective skills were piss poor in most of those flicks

I hear what you saying but,

We talking about BATMAN having to muster up willpower and courage. BATMAN.

Batman is all willpower and courage. If he's "discovering" that 2 hours into a 2 hour and 30 minute movie then they failed portraying batman
.
But they did though.

They forced the Bane shyt, Bane caught Bats in the the comic because he wore him down by freeing all his villains, forcing Bats to work overtime to bring them all in.

They used his "layoff" to make the L legit because a Bats at full strength is not losing to Bane.

And then they weakened the character even more by just making him a lackey for Talia

The first one felt the most like Batman. Gotham looked the best in it. The Dark Knight, even though it's clearly the best out of all three, was mad overrated. The Dark Knight Rises was the worst. Hardy as Bane was the only thing good about it and even then I'm :stopitslime: at them whitewashing dude.

:russ: at Batman fighting in the street in broad daylight. I'm glad Nolan's done and that hyper-realistic shyt is over with. I want that superhero Batman not :flabbynsick: Batman.

rises put his detective skills in the bushes.... hands the reactor to talia before just floodin it... his research into "the masked man" is some dudes past memories, he knows bane was in the league of shadows & doesnt do any recon before goin in the sewers... followed catwoman & didnt know he was goin directly under his armory...

the whole stock market shyt totally assassinated his character... bane break in & steal the market info, the next day you mysteriously make a bunch of bad investments that bankrupt you... as bruce he shoulda had that shyt appealed or overturned within hours, as batman heda had proof of the scam next day... superman might fall for some corny shyt like that but not batman.....

Lol nikkas are really saying that last fight was dope tho with people charging at each other literally while holding rifles and shyt. Batman is fighting in broad daylight on some steps amongst hundreds of people and nobody shoots at him? Bane is just gonna take him one on one? I don't know who was dumber in this film.

Well. I do. Easily Batman.
