Age of Ultron was such a letdown

I think people don't remember this or didn't really start paying until Avengers. Even I was so fatigued from superheroes in 08 that I had to be convinced to see Iron Man.

The two years before Iron Man, we had to sit through X-Men Last Stand, Superman Returns, Spider-Man 3, Ghost Rider and Silver Surfer. MCU actually reinvigorated superheroes for me.

Not sure how I feel about post-Black Widow MCU though.

Age of Ultron suffered from the problem of the other films had. Too much things were stuffed in that were setting up other films instead of making Age of Ultron about age of ultorn. Plus that shyt was a Weekend at Ultrons

In the trailer he’s menacing, creepy and ruthless, and then we get to the movie and he’s less funny Tony Stark.
His plan is terrible, this is supposed to be a super A.I. designed by two of the smartest people in the MCU, and this guy didn’t do shyt. He wasn’t even the cause of the Avengers’ lowest moment, that was Scarlett Witch’s work.

Age of Ultron is definitely top 5 worst MCU film.

Also felt like the Ultron bots were underwhelming, I don’t think they overwhelmed any of our heroes, they were canon fodder. At first I had thought that Ultron would use the bots on some Six Paths of Pain shyt, and use them in tandem with his main body, but no they were just there for the Avengers to beat the shyt out of.

Iron man 3 is even worse than 2 imo. Iron man 3 is one of the few mcu movies I actively hate. Even worse because I love Shane black but I legit despise that movie
