After James earlier in the day took the high road by saying he preferred to avoid any verbal sparring with Indiana Pacers guard Lance Stephenson, the younger player fired back during his media session Sunday afternoon. Stephenson called it a "sign of weakness" that James responded to his taunts in Saturday's Game 3 of the Eastern Conference finals.

"To me, I think it's a sign of weakness because he never used to say nothing to me," Stephenson said. "I always used to be the one who used to be the one that say, `I'm going to get under you. I'm going to do something to get you mad' Now he's trying to do it to me. I feel like it's a weakness."'

Then I can see us bringing him in but not sure he'll get much playing time unless he's a vicious rebounder and great defender. Beasley is less athletic but does more of the things we need on offense than this guy seems to do. Ennis' highlights didn't show him taking many 3's or jumpers period.

Beasley has also shown me he can be our best rebounder WHEN HE WANTS TO. Nothing would bring me more joy than to see Beasley put 10-15 lbs of muscle and turn himself into a PF. He's slow footed on defense so being a PF he won't have to chase smaller defenders very often.

Ennis' seems to be a great slasher tho. Good at moving without the ball but unless he develops a 3 point range he's not gonna be high in the rotation because even if Wade, Lebron and Bosh stays i anticipate us still losing Ray Allen and Lewis and probably Birdman in the offseason.
nikka we aint losing Ray fukk outta here we are not letting him walk away :pacspit:

oh yeah

Incinerating Indiana

"In three games versus the Pacers, Wade is averaging 24.3 points, 3.3 rebounds and 4.3 assists on 62 percent shooting. Yes, 62 percent shooting, because merely converting over 50 percent of field-goal attempts is for suckers. "

but he's washed :mjlol:

I think Ray is ready to hang them up. If Riley can convince him to stay :ohlawd: but I'm not gonna get my hopes up.

if he gets another ring this season. He will stay, question is if he does retire. Does he want to work in the Heat organization?

We are always looking for shooters. Maybe Riley can pull a jedi mind trick. Have him retire and come back as a 3-point specialist off the bench. :ohhh:

Maybe I'm expecting too much from D-Wade given the condition of his knees but he still doesn't look right to me. :patrice:

He's not as explosive ala Jordan 95-03 more so Jordan 95-98

He's hit that phase of his career where athleticism takes back seat to understanding (mental toughness) the game and out smarting your opponents.

His mechanics are still great (handle, jumper, floater, defense). As long as he's being asked to be the thee guy and his minutes are reduced he's going to be very effective.

This is the reason he'll have to restructure his deal to stay with Miami. You can't pay him the max with his decline athleticism taking away from his productivity over the duration of a full NBA Season.

At this point Wade is about championships. The Miami organization seems like they're ready to become one of those staple franchises (Lakers, Celtics, Bulls)
