I guess this is what happens when you're both accepted by the mainstream and publicly dislike a fan fav/legend (Mr. Johnson), you get thrown in the bushes permanently smh...

Why would people be happy to see Punk fail? There's people on tsc that'd rather see Ryback on top? Cena?

Punk got every wrestling fan excited during that whole shoot angle in interviews that he would reason that WWE would change into something good again. You know wrestling fans, they latch on into any chance or anything cool or great again even if it's unrealistic. Even though no fault or his own(Nash and subsequent Triple feuds), he became a corny Cena-like who worked shooted a lot. Basically, Punk failed with "Voice of Voiceless" face run because he didn't have enough superstar quality promos or moments after Money In The Bank.

The Kevin Nash thing and triple h not turning heel for that fukked up his momentum. Punk was fine in his role.

The Rock promised change? The Rock guaranteed to beat Cena at WM 28 after Cena talked about "they KNOW I can't lose!" and shouting all of that wack bullshyt on the Raw before WM:laugh: And what kind of adult fan was thinking the Rock was "never leaving"? Anyone with common sense knew exactly what the fukk he was talking about. He was talking on some Undertaker type shyt.

Satellite promos got higher ratings than CM Punk/Heyman promos crying about Philly with Flair or the other endless rating losers they've accomplished over the last 4 months.

LOL@the irony of a Blandy fan saying that brittle nygga is gonna have some all star performance at Mania and hating on the only reason WM 29 has any credibility whatsoever

rock is like the undertaker now?

My bad. He actually appears more than he does.

He was fine, but Punk was talking like MITB 2011 was his breakthrough moment to become the next big star and WWE and he would lead them to a new era. Punk set himself up for failure by not being able to do what he said and what wrestling fans expected and hoped to do.
