After X-Men: Apocalypse they need to reboot the franchise.

All of the X-Men movies are such a mess. I guess it only makes sense since X-Men comics are as well with their various timelines, alternate futures, etc. The cast of this movie looks terrible. It looks like a cheap TV movie.

I just hope some day Disney/Marvel can get the rights, but until then, I have zero interest in X-Men movies.

Never understood the shytty rosters these movies had either. It's like they grabbed names out of a hat rather than focus on any particular era of X-Men.

The last movie kind of already rebooted and erased the past movies. Instead of a complete new reboot, it should be more of a transition. Keep the new cast (Cyclops, Jean, Storm) and replace the older members.

You think he's got the range? What about Tom Hardy?

i'm tired of seeing reboots occur honestly. i'd rather see new stories then see the same story reinterpreted :francis:

LMAO! Another reboot WTF?! I guess spiderman needs another reboot too. Y'all really enjoy watching damn near the same movies over and over again. It hurts my head. Also Im tired of all these superhero hero worship movies.

I would start with the OG team and go literally in order of all the major X-Men plots and turning points. But it's obvious they could do like countless seasons of this and never catch up to the books.

I'd be down to see the original 5 with their own season.

And a whole season of Age Of Apocalypse :banderas:

I think it is just a clusterfukk to a certain point. They just cast new Storm, Cyclops, Nightcrawler and Jean Grey for the 80s in this upcoming Apocalypse joint. They are all underwhelming choices. You can't just start over with some of those same characters again.
Really X-Men needs that TV drama 13 episode seasons treatment with a super high budget. They gotta personal drama poppin' heavy as well as great action potential. Maybe in a few years down the line or something.
This could happen if Fox would give up the goods but they continue to make money off of it. If that money slowed down or in the case of Spiderman it was poorly received, they'd do the Sony thing and let Marvel take the reigns but split the profits or whatever it is they're doing with Civil War.

If Marvel was allowed to do for X-Men what is currently being done for Daredevil :wow:

I wouldn't even need it to connect to the MCU, X-Men alone is rich enough for ud seasons of piff. If they could partner with anyone with the $ to do it properly I'm down. HBO, Showtime or Netflix, etc. the thing is to do it right displaying their powers properly would need to be high budget. So maybe not now but like 5 - 10 years from now when you can do some ill shyt on TV would be ideal.
