only nfts we support on the coli is the tariq bussy boy collection nfts
You nikkas are obsessed with things being "scams". Every other group is out here getting money and putting it into real estate. Get with it or get left behind. The same folks crying scam will be whining about increased income inequality 15 years from now.
No they're not, but with every industry and sector scammers will dwell
ExactlyEspecially in new and emerging spaces such as block chain technology. NFT's can be valuable in the right situations but there's a lot of garbage out there and get rich quick schemes around them too.
As time goes on, and the technology and industry matures, it'll be more clear what's real and what's fake.
All these paragraphs and no explanation as to how it's a scamThe NFT industry is a scam.
Suggesting that "every" NFT has collector value is even worse than suggesting that every item in the real world has collector value.
It is sort of true over a very long timescale but it is not true in the way they are being sold.
There is a difference between something and a subjective representation of that thing. Thing Gold vs. fiat Money arguments. One is a physical thing and the other is a representation of a thing (rather than just being seen as a piece of paper).
NFT's are only globally non-fungible within a certain (limited) scope and that is the difference between them and real world objects.
You didn't disprove anything I saidBecause you’re buying an artist’s mindful impression of something. On the other hand NFTs are just a money making scheme people are getting a hold on to make money.
If you think Art is so easy, go and squiggle something and try and sell it. On the flip side go take that swiggle and promote it as an NFT that will be potentially worth Ms and people will FOMO buy it. Case in point go look at Tariq’s terrible Buck NFTs.
I just Googled and NFT don't even provide you a copyright of the media. Copyright holders are still allowed to use those clips, and even make duplicate ones to sell as NFT's.I basically saw NFT's as holding the copyright to a piece of media.
So if other people want to use it, they have to pay you. Issue is is the NFT you own something people are gonna want to sample or use? and/or is there a way around it if they do?
For example, if i own the NFT to MJ famous game winning shot. Does the NBA have to toss me some money anytime they show it on tv? Or do they still own the rights to NBA footage regardless?
if they don't then yeah, i don't see the point in NFT's. Definitely don't see the point in owning some random gif nobody cares about.
