It's funny how that happens. When the colony becomes such a large, populous country, the dialect and culture of the former colony, starts to influence the mother country. Kinda like The US and The UK.
except much worse in portugal's case. compared to any country, they are poor and have very little influence. compared to the UK, they're absolute minnows. a lot of british actors come to the US because there's more money to be made, but portuguese actors dont really have that option in respect to brazil, and there's a lot less money to be made there as well, since nobody has any, especially not for film and tv

the US doesn't really have much influence on the UK but the two countries trade and share a lot of cultural touchstones. brazilians rarely think about portugal at all

Must go to Brazil before I die. My granpops went to Cuba with his 6 other brothers in the early 40s. Two of his bros never went back to Haiti. They stayed in Cuba because they started a family. My grandpops went back to Haiti in the late 50s. Rumor is he knocked mad broads in Cuba. And has secret families all over the island. If i got Brazil I might continue my grandfather's legacy if i meet afro brazilian chicks like shown in this thread.:to:

Just ate a Brazilian restaurant (authentic) yesterday in my neighborhood.

The mentality/outlook on life is definitely different and you can taste it in the food.

Waitress girl had a great ass and best of all no 'tude. As soon as she came in for her shift she helped our table.

Receiving foreign hospitality in America is like a breath of fresh air.

According to this guy Brazil is way more c00ntastic than America. And alot more bed wenches

Yes the racism here is indeed different. Another example is how brazil residencial areas (low to middle class) are usually not divided by the type of people who lives in there.

I live in a relatively poor place (not as much as favelas) and my neighbor is mixed as f. There's italians in the houses close to mine. A german dude who is married to a native woman in the front. Some japanese people on the corner, etc. Very mixed shyt.

BUT upper class/rich neighbors are all white of course.

Anyway, if theres a thing that makes me mad is the amount of c00ns here. I didn't even knew that USA had the amount of c00ns that you guys say that have in there. But here shyt is :snoop:.

From time to time I have to give reality checks to brainwashed nikkas. And the bedwench scene is also way out of hand.

@Malta :salute: Actual black women being posted.

I live around a lot of Brazilians, black Brazilians though, they show a lot of black pride. I learned a lot about they struggle being in Brazil for a little bit. I feel a bit of a connection to them. I don't know if they consider themselves Afro Latin. I really wish I would've taken advantage of my younger years and actually learned Portugese, but my husband is supposed to be teaching me. :lupe:

They don't really seem to like being called Latinos in my experience, even though technically they are since they speak a romance language. The ones in Northeast of Brazil seem to rock heavy with being identified with African.

Yeah I made that mistake once and they didn't take too kindly to it. Some of them look like straight up Ethiopians. It's eery. :ohhh:
