The most powerful people that can't even own it's own stores in its own communities and then when it is black owned it's typically African? We come to your country and smash you in education and business. Percentage wise we are in more professional fields such as engineering....and this is in YOUR country, let alone ours.

The chinese are doing some fairly good work in africa, but from what i understand, the skills transfer isn't taking place the way it should. So they get the minerals they want and you don't get the talented workforce needed to bring your countries out of poverty. And even if you had the talented workforce, are the countries applying the proper funds needed to jumpstart the economies? I'm still studying the china/africa relationship and although things seem fine, i wouldn't be surprised if the africans are getting fukked over in many of those deals.

Good post! I would say my favorite post on the Coli as of right now. I really believe if we were to get rid of the bolded then we as people of African descent would literally prison fukk every single group on this planet. We have the physical and intellectual potential to do so. But mother nature gave us c00ns to balance things out. We as people of African descent are the oldest/first humans on this planet. The more I do bio-anthropology on Africans and people of African descent the more I think flat out that people of African descent are the TRUE master race. I know this is twisted and bad thinking but I really think this. We age slower. Scientifically proven. More resisted to the sun(skin cancer or sun burns). Scientifically proven. We are the most diverse in phenotypes. Scientifically proven. Africans have more genetic diversity than say people from New York city. Scientifically proven. Other "races" are nothing more than just genetic children from us. Scientifically proven. All of our genetic traits are dominate and not genetically mutated recessive genes. Scientifically proven. Black babies mature faster. Scientifically proven. Black men have more testosterone and black women more estrogen. Scientifically proven.
We dominate the more intensified sports and not sissy sports like golf, lacrosse or swimming(we're getting there). Our bodies are naturally toned. We even on the creative and right brain side we dominate with our music that only influence all. We also survived one of the deadliest slave trades in human history and cultivated a new home for ourselves. In some ways fighting for it.
On the intellectual side we had the earliest civilizations. Created the great pyramids which are a mathematical achievement. Managed to enter the iron age independently. Sahel West Africa was the educational center of the Muslim world and possibly the entire world. We were doing cataract surgery long before Europeans knew how to in Sahel West Africa. I can go on and on but I will say modern day blacks like Nigerians are example of showcasing our intellectual potential, Nigerians who are said to be smartest group in America.
Seriously people of African descent are one of a kind. But...We have an error and that is the bolded which holds us back from dominating this planet. I know this may sound crazy but did mother nature do this on purpose? Again I know it sounds crazy but... This is why I still think its important to study history especially Al Jahiz the supremacy of blacks over whites to know where we went wrong. There is really no one group of Berbers. "Berber" in its most technical term is just a language group. Yes Berbers are indigenous to Africa i.e the more "black" ones like the Tuaregs, Sanhaja, Siwa or any Berber group that lives in the Sahara and lives a semi-pastoral/nomad lifestyle are. But the white/Arab looking ones in the densely populated cities of Northwest Africa are heavily admixed with non-African DNA or have no African admixture at all. This is very true for Algerians who are nothing more than just European transplants during the end of the Moorish period after they were expelled. So the Berbers that @Raymond Burrr is talking about are not really indigenous or their African admixture is very diluted.
Moroccans are a different story but they are heavily admixed with foreign DNA.
And its commonly known that the countries in Africa are getting pimped by the West and to a smaller extent Indians. I don't know why you are playing dumb to this. Hell the French still try to bully around their former African colonies.

A continent comprise of 54 nations with so many different cultures, religions, and of course different races of people, and with your superior intelligence from your American schools you going to generalize all these different peoples into one entity. First learn how each country operate, as well understand the basic of our unique and different histories across the continent, then we may engage in some meaningful discussions. The Moroccans and Algerians are no more mixed than AAs. It's a selected few tribes mostly in hilly sides near the Mediterranean it does not reflect the 95% of people living in that part of the continent no matter how much the cacs want to take credit for it. Berbers, Horners, Khoisan all want to distance themselves from the darker parts but they're all native to the continent, just like Russians are supposedly different because they have a dash of asian blood but no, they're white, and they are european.

Again Africa is not a country learn the history of the various cultures and really learn what is currently going on in each country would be a good start, because i don't have the time and patience to give history lessons, then again i am obvious more familiar with my own region North Sudan and Egypt(to a degree) than other regions. Which means i am not a expert in other African cultures since it is a continent, and you obviously not from what i can tell.

I realised a long time ago, when you closely read a lot of what these guys in The Root write, underneath all the historical shyt they probably copy and paste from random internet sites, they have very little real day to day stories or experiences with African people living today, that might help to better their understanding of the issues within the African continent today, not some archaic Nubia/Ancient Egypt/K'met stuff that might be romantic and intriguing, but ultimately has little relevance today.
