Africans accuse African Americans of "appropriating" their culture (legitimate criticism?)

From the tweets I've seen posted here it looks like girls lashing back for getting teased when they were in school. But that goes both ways, I went to elementary school with a few liberian girls who couldn't speak a lick of english (they spoke french). Fast forward to high school you wouldn't be able to tell the difference between them and the American born girls, from style of dress all the way down to dialect/slang, and now they back reppin Africa hard..are they "appropriating" two cultures at once?

This is pretty much what I was alluding to, story is very common/familiar.

So apparently on Twitter today, Africans are accusing African Americans of stealing their culture and they don't see the irony in it

but isn't House music big in South Africa? Don't they have Nollywood films about Tupac? Isn't Afrobeats heavily influence by rap? Isn't there soul food restaurants in Kenya? Don't kids in Johanessburg and Cape Town dress like Black urban youth?

Is this a legitimate argument? Am I tripping?

I never see Africans standing with AfrAms during times of injustices against Blacks in this country. Mike Brown, sandra Bland, etc.

As a matter of FACT, Africans mostly stand PROUDLY(almost spitefully, even) on the white side of the fence on those types of issues.

We arent sh!t but lazy bums to Africans.

They are literally some of the biggest tap dancing c00ns ever to walk this US soil..from my experience.

Those are the Africans that don't know the American White man. See they know the English White man and they know the Spanish and French White man; but they don't really know this American White man yet. The Africans hitting this Country haven't figured out that the American White man is the most diabolical of all of the White men in the World. The American White man committed treason against the English White men and kicked them out the Country and they purchased the rest of America from the French and Spanish for pennies on the dollar. The Africans with all of their scams and hustles don't see it yet. The main thing that the American White man is doing is educating all of Africa's future leaders. The African's haven't figured out what that is about, but the Americans are setting up their future governments; which of course will benefit the White man in America.

Interesting perspective

To me a cac is a cac, french or american. It is despicable that they fail, as youve pointed out as well, to make that same discernment.
