There's a spot in Little Haiti that sells all those juices and sell delicious patties. It's on 54th st NE 2 Ave

Just ask around if you get lost.

That place :wow:

not saying they're bad it's just that i think they're used too much plus for me alot of them especially yams and green banana seems pretty bland. i prefer more greens (beans, ocra, cabbage, coliflower, etc)

i won't say their used too much...that's been our staple diet for centuries and the fact that our diet is low in fats and high in fish oils combats the high starch aspects.
i can see how maybe eating our starches plus americanized food could lead to some problems. i've honestly never seen many "obese" jamiacans that eat prrimarily yard food. supposedly they're all over New York...but the ones in my fam tend to be on the skinny to healthy side.

it's sooooo good!!! it's hard as hell to find it here in houston. my fam always smuggles some back when they go there for me. and to think if falls off the tree and just rots on the ground there and we're taking covert methods just tryna get a taste here :beli:

that's one of the reasons i can't fukk with the south, except florida. i got to have these things in my life. although they're not always the freshest but atleast here in nyc i could walk out my house and down the block and buy two guinep or a soursop.
