This is vintage Sword and Sorcery and a must read for all fans of the genre.

I got this book. A great read.

Noughts & Crosses is a series of young adult novels by British author Malorie Blackman, including five novellas. The series is speculative fiction describing an alternative history in which native African people had colonised the European people, rather than the other way around, with Africans having made Europeans their slaves. The series takes place in an alternative 21st-century Britain.

At the time of the series, slavery had been abolished for some time, but segregation, similar to the Jim Crow Laws, continues to operate to keep the crosses (dark-skinned people) in control of the noughts (lighter-skinned people). An international organisation, the Pangaean Economic Community, exists. Seeming to be similar to the United Nations in scope but similar to the European Union in powers, it is playing a role in forcing change by directives and boycotts.

Imaro by Charles R Saunders

A series of novels and short stories about a man named Imaro. He's an Illyasai warrior that travels the continent of Nyumbani (a continent analgous to Africa) fighting supernatural and mundane threats to his life. Sword and Sorcery with an African twist.
Ther have been 4 books released. I've got 3 of them. I love it. The writing is great.

Always wanted to read this because it's the template to sword and soul and maybe the only big franchise in it? I have black leopard red wolf its dope but written in a very obtuse, abstract style wouldnt really recommene for someone who cant use their imagination to. Are there any links to Imaro
