i'm not that angry about it anymore. never really was. i'm one of the Africans who believes we can't hold shyt people said 10 years ago in their juvenile years against them
but at the same time if you wanna mend relations you have to acknowledge foul things were said. growing up as a shorty, I hated being African & dark skinned because of the things my peers said. it's ugly to have to hate a part of yourself because of how it affects your social status and self esteem. i turned out just fine, but that kind of emotional stress isn't easy to let go. not everybody has.
