Both. Her dad is from those islands in GA and her mom is from SC.

When her mother and aunts get together and start speaking....DOG....it's another language. I be sitting there like :dwillhuh:

Isn't the Geechee language just English creole? And its crazy how her parents are from both states.:ohhh:

Also does Savannah, GA still have a large Gullah population? I remember staying in Savannah and enjoying it.

It's straight English Creole. They sound West Indian. I'm not sure about the geography since I'm nigerian. LOL

It is crazy how both her parents are basically from there.

It is crazy how both her parents are basically from there.

In my opinion them sounding west indian could be due to two having similar mixture dialects. I'm not sure if that makes sense.
