Punk knew. All the hardcores on twitter knew. To act like it was the da Vinci code or something is disingenuous. Whether Punk's response was apporpriate or not is separate from whether Hangman fired the first shot, which he did,

I'll need some receipts on this because if Page's promo was such a massive dagger, there would have been much more talk about it at the time it happened rather than 3 months later.

Hangman is a generic CAW bum.

If Colt is one of the most respected guys in the locker room then AEW have even bigger problems than I thought :mjlol:

This is a business. Punk is a star who is drawing better numbers than all these goofy indie bums on their roster. Problem is these AEW wrestlers treat this shyt like it's PWG or some shyt and all they want is a safe space to make their corny dikk jokes with their buddies and act like Tony Khan ain't dump millions into this shyt and there's major TV deals on the line.

If they ain't happy with then go back to the indies where they belong :camby:

Hangman Page...i am so glad Punk called out this bytch ass "EVP" :mjlol:

You don’t pick 44 over 30. Punk is at the end. If he went back to HHH, it’s legends booking and Saudi Arabia.

To be clear: because only punk and few hardcore understood page was taking a shot punk should have ignored it?

Hangman was building up a match, what was Punk doing? Don’t build up matches that aren’t going to be delivered. Given Hangman is #1 in the rankings, I can see the logic given he needed something to reignite him, but if the match isn’t going to delivered, Punk is in the wrong.

Do you think he could have built up a match without inserting himself into a legitimate feud he had nothing to do with?

Hangman will never be a star. Not at 30 not at 44. You pick a draw over a non draw.

By what metric? Hangman been the biggest non former WWE star beside Kenny. Page and Cole PPV did bigger business than the next 3 shows and his matches against Danielson drew. Outside of Punk’s first shows and matches, you can’t say he’s on a other level as drawing for the company. Why the fukk would you go with someone that’s retiring in 2024 over someone that can be on top a decade lol. You don’t see the Lakers letting Lebron pick his coach (he wanted Mark Jackson), why would AEW let Punk run shyt on his way out

MJF is by far a bigger star than hangman page. Page is literally NOT a star. Being a factor to your current audience which he somewhat is…is not a star. He didn’t bring people to the show, MJF does.

Hangman and all the other indie morons are not worth all this drama
Only MJF is worth it everyone else is a bum
They literally exist to be the authentic portion of AEW's roster but now that some serious talent has joined the fed its a problem for them because it supplants their position of not drawing a dime

Imo Hangman should have been suspended months ago now its built up to this point because Punk saw no one held him accountable for his unprofessionalism
