That is part of the appeal and entertainment of it all!nikkas still up in here acting like this is real
Punk said the main reason he signed with AEW was how tight lipped everyone was about Brodie Lee's situation. Maybe he's putting them to the test with the opposite strategy: leak everything about this fake shytBut as leaky as that locker room is, if this was a work then it would have been leaked by now that it was a work.
Then when they moved on from the colt rant to other questions, Punk brought up Colt again. I think that's when he mentioned he shared a bank account with his mom. I guess trying to embarass him.did yall watch the scrum? literally nobody brought up colt but punk. then he goes on a 10 minute tirade that started with the colt mention. WORK WORK WORK
Sounds like Punk/Steel started it with the Bucks and Kenny was probably trying to break it upPulling hair and bitting dudes like bytches how yall lose a 3 on 2 fight against 2 middle aged men allegedly
For the MANY of you who have written us asking about what happened backstage at the AEW All Out PPV, I haven't been ignoring you but was out all day. Based on what we have heard from those in the company today, here is what we can asceration:
*After Punk finished venting his heart out at the AEW All Out Media Scrum, he returned to his locker room, where there was an altercation.
*Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks went to Punk's locker room and confronted him about his comments during the scrum.
*There was a physical altercation with Punk and Matt and Nick Jackson.
*No one sharing stories is quite sure who threw the first punch.
*Kenny Omega was there but did not get into a physical altercation with Punk.
*Ace Steel arrived and did get involved as his wife was in the vicinity of the incident, possibly even inside Punk's locker room as she was watching over Punk's dog Larry. Steel was said to have gotten physically involved.
*A number of AEW staff and security hit the scene to break up the fracas and separate the Punk side from the Elite side.
*Once the sides were separated, they continued to argue for some time before The Bucks and Omega exited the area of Punk's locker room
*Tony Khan was not present at the incident as he was still on stage for the media scrum.
*At least one of the Bucks returned to the hotel late last night sporting a black eye.
*We have heard from a number of people in the company backing one side and blaming the other. Some were backing Omega and The Bucks, given Punk's comments, feeling Punk's verbal statements led to the incident. Others were backing Punk and questioning why EVPs stormed into his locker room, placing Punk in a situation where he would be outnumbered and that has to shoulder some of the blame. Others are questioning how things will go down at TV this Wednesday given the situation involved the company's new champion, three EVPS and a Producer, all of whom are in positions of being leaders behind the scenes.
*The Bucks and Omega left Chicago earlier today.
*AEW is being very tight-lipped about the situation but the belief among those we've spoken with is the company is likely trying to determine where blame should be placed and what their course of action is going forward.
*It should be noted that over the course of the day, some of the stories around the incident have gotten more and more fantastical and involved other names. In regard to FTR (who are close with Punk) and Hangman Page (close with the Elite, obviously), they were not present as they had all exited the NOW Arena after the PPV had concluded as they were not needed for the Media Scrum. They were not involved.
*There were some who had sympathy for MJF, feeling the situation overshadowed his return angle that closed the PPV.
Punk has to be suspended either for real (if all of this is shoot) or in kayfabe (if this is a work) since it's widely known news on the IWC that Eddie Kingston got suspended for real two weeks for slapping Sammy Guevara.
But let's just go with this is all a shoot...
If you don't give Punk a bigger suspension than Eddie got, then that is going to be severely problematic. Rather real or kayfabe, no way to justify not bringing the hammer down on him and expect to have any credibility whatsoever as a leader of the company.
Punk is going to have to have a short leash on his promos. He still needs the creative freedom he has on the mic, but he needs to be told that there is a zero tolerance policy for him shooting. He took the freedom he was granted and completely abused it, you have to check him on that.
Ace Steel has to be fired. He's a coach/producer. He's expendable.
Omega and the Bucks should be stripped of their EVP positions. If they are leaking fake news then that is 100% unacceptable for an EVP. Even if they are only leaking real news it shouldn't be happening. And if what I read is true that they stormed Punk's locker room, they should be suspended too.
They need to just eliminate this post-PPV media scrum stuff entirely. Tony comes off terribly in every single one of them and everything about this last one is beyond the pale.
Tony Khan needs to hire someone that's going to start checking the talent in the locker room. Doesn't seem like the locker room has any respect for him and there appears to be a void of leadership amongst the talent.
Right. They need to save MJF and the Punk stuff until the end of the episode. Make it the main event. Keep people watching the whole show waiting for what they want to see. Maybe some casuals see some talent, wrestling, or some other promos they like that makes them want to watch again next week.
Instead they probably going to lead off with it then every casual that tuned in for it going to change the commercial right after they see the segments.
If you want to grow the business, sometimes you got to do things out of order than you typically would, and surely there are going to be a ton of casuals watching to see what they going to do with the Punk stuff especially.
I would give him some ultimatums and tell him things are going to go the way I tell you they are going to go or you can quit before you fire him.Punk needs to be fired.

I can kind of understand where he was coming from with it., assuming he was trying to create a bit more realism to it since like the NFL, NBA, etc. have pressers after games, but it has officially failed spectacularly. If he plans to run one of these after the next PPV then Shahid Khan needs to have a come to Jesus talk with Tony. They should have never been a thing. The only thing they accomplish at this point is putting a camera on Khan & seeing just how fukking weird he is.
Nobody is going to ask anything that gets them not invited to the next one, anything anyone would really want an answer to is more likely getting brushed off or no commented.
