Yeah no shyt Don Callis is going to end up in AEW. That dude has been hustling his ass off the past couple of years to get his finger into every non-WWE pie he can and is securing the bag for sure. In some ways, you can say he's pretty integral to AEW coming into being with being the one who set up the Jericho/Omega match for NJ and kick started the whole movement.

They just have to do a better job of explaining things, especially to people outside of their hardcore fanbase who has followed every small wrestling promotion. That's one of the reasons their fanbase hasn't grown at all.

For example, they have never explained "The Cleaner" gimmick and why we should care. I don't watch NJPW so I'm clueless like many.

So I'm like many people who have no clue about Impact at all, so It's going to take some explaining. Especially since Impact has a small fanbase.

nobody does all that.

did the WWF ever explain the origins of hulkamania, which began in the AWA??

NOPE.

Problem with NJPW is they may not want to put over talent for Impact or AEW. Their wrestlers will be going over.

Njpw missed their wave to capitalize a long time ago.
By not originally crowning omega in the first bout versus okada. Thus ruining expansion into the us. As they seem to have forgot. That aj and the bullet club brought them their wave mainstream wise. That they fukked it up by trying to make okada this Asian randy Orton and tana into Asian cena.
Now we do not need njpw because Jericho went over there and easily outworked their entire me roster.
So njpw their window is closed until they can use a storm breaker.

Yes the WWE did.
They explained it every week after the wwf show debuted and showed you the origin of hulkamania.
as it began in wwf against the sheik.

The reason why these companies fail is because they never give an origin story. When anything that drew well always had an origin story.

Voltron : Origin
Robotech : Origin
Star wars : Origin story
Batman : Origin story

You can nOt make an entertaining drawing property without a purposeful origin period.

Shows that did not have an origin are darkhorses and never really break the mold to draw.

Impact never broke through originally because jeff JARRETT overshadowed aj styles origin. Which is why samoa joe and angle worked as an origin.
Or buy in point for impact. Plus why most point to that era in time. Roh also has somewhat of a fee origin stories and is why it has stayed as a dark horse as well. Yet they got raided originally when they had the principles to do more.

Are you just anti-wrestling or anti anything associated with AEW?

He's a WWE mark, who resents anything or anybody that competes against WWE

They did a terrible explanation that still has new Kenny Omega viewers clueless.

AEW's problem is they gear themselves toward the niche nerd/anime/video game crowd & it alienates or confuses the average person. They're often too smart for their own good. That Brandi promo is another example of how clueless they are.

Not saying they have to be the WWE, but there is a low ceiling for the crowd that they're strictly catering to. They honestly do need a Cornette type to assist them with their presentation because it's so tongue-in-cheek because the inmates (Young Bucks, Omega,Cody & Tony Khan) are running the asylum like 13 year old kids with a wrestling video game.

They gotta tighten it up because it's potential there and it's the only real alternative to the WWE. Sadly, they're mimicking most of what WWE does worst.

This right here.

I try to support them because I like what they're about, especially in comparison to Vince & his folks, but man they make it hard with their smarky shyt. :francis:

Impact has the the best shows out of WWE and AEW

They should reform OVE together and run it in multi promotions like BC

Please tell me you did not just put OVE in the same realm of influence as the Bullet Club. No one gives a shyt about fukking OVE, especially with one of those clowns losing their job a few months ago.

Imagine all of the amazing inter promotional stories that could have been told over the past few decades that never happened because Vince McMahon is a piece of shyt.
