PWInsider reports that All Elite Wrestling (AEW) filed a trademark application on August 1 for the term “All Elite Women.” The trademark application was filed on Monday, August 1 with the United States Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO).

PWInsider noted that the trademark was filed for multiple subjects, including entertainment services and “streaming of payer-view events material on the internet.” You can see the full descriptions below:

That's a lot of potential uses listed that don't have anything to do with an actual show too though

I mean a full blown series or at least a branch promotion. Ala Stardom or TJPW.

At best, it could be a Youtube show with an eventual standalone PPV. Don't think in the US you're going to get a live network show with all women's wrestling.

As an aside, it's insane that WWE hasn't had their own weekly women's show on their own network. Probably wouldn't cost much to make given everyone is already under contract and they have the production facilities to put on smaller shows.

Regardless of what he does, he needs to put these young ladies to work. Having 1 match a week, in Dark/Dynamite/Rampage is way too little for the development a lot of these wrestlers need. A lot of these women have 1 or 2 traits that could develop into a good performer but that ain't gonna happen unless they get to work A LOT with a bunch of different people.

Most of these women aren't exclusive to AEW. Or at least a lot of them aren't if not the majority.

Do they get those other bookings? how many of them do? (legit questions btw, I have no clue).
Not as many as I thought, but still quite a few. It seems much more frequent on the men's roster than the women's. I guess I just kinda assumed it was the same.

Athena
Emi Sakura
Hikaru Shida
Kiera Hogan
Leyla Hirsch
Marina Shafir
Mercedes Martinez
Nyla Rose
Thunder Rosa
Yuka Sakazaki - although she is primarily in Japan

A few of them look like they stopped doing non-AEW shows this year like Jamie Hayter for one example. Some only do a non-AEW booking every couple months or so. Unless they signed AEW exclusive deals, nobody stopping them from being available for indie bookings though. I imagine if an ROH show ever happens that quite a few of the AEw women are going to be regulars in ROH.

But see, out of that list only Hirsch and Hogan are young talent that need a lot of reps. The rest are either multi year veterans that have been working lots of places for a good number of years already, Japanese wrestlers that can always go back and run a couple of tours in their home country, or someone like Shafir that's trying to make this wrestling thing happen after her MMA career didn't take off.

The bulk of the younger women need waaay more reps than what they are getting.
