They’ve got a good opportunity to do something really good. Roster has a ton of characters that are video game ready. Luchasaurus, Penta, Dark Order, etc. all can do some really cool and different shyt because the gimmick isn’t just “first name, last name”.

Theres no way an AEW game can be fully ready for at least another year with all of the stuff itll probably have in it. But who knows? Maybe they have a way bigger team than I thought working on it so itll be ready by All Out?
Hopefully its more than just wrestling but has a big roster and great story to it. Wonder which gimmick matches are allowed in it. I know there won't be no hell in a cell or elimination chamber type matches but atleast a cage match option. Has AEW even had one of those yet? Don't think so but I'm excited to see what an AEW video game would offer.

If this is made like it needs to be made.
This is the gateway product that changed everything for wcw.
Then wwe raided and wcw eventually succumbed.
If wcw would have been more on point.
WWE may have never had the gateway from videogames sewn up.

Wouldn't be surprised if it's a more low key indie release. On some Fire Pro shyt which might be for the best.
Wrestling is just damn near impossible to do as a game. There's this weird disconnect in trying to make the game "realistic" but also treating it basically like a fighting game. To me a more interesting game would be if you had to actually work a match and cooperate with an opponent to have a good match. That's something we haven't seen done before.
