I’m betting AEW also dominated because WWE probably won’t let the talent take pictures for the magazine. I think WWE stopped letting their talent take pictures with them in the mid 90s when they WWE and Raw magazines were getting super pushed and PWI was a competitor

Its FAN voted. What difference does it make that WWE doesnt allow pics for the magazine (not true btw). AEW is just more popular with people that still read the magazine. Nothing more, nothing less, no gymnastics needed. Dont ask me how.

False. WWF stars were on the cover all throughout the Monday night wars well into the mid 2000s. Wrestling magazines were big business in the late 90s. I have a few old issues myself

yeah the cover, but not with the awards. Up into the early 90s you would see Hogan , Bret and those guys doing the awards photo op. They stopped letting their talents do it in the late 90s

not false. Again I said the awards photo Ops. At the end of the day I really don’t care lol. Didn’t know PWI was still a thing until this news came out. Only care if it becomes an angle like it was when Flair and Sting won in ‘89 and Terry Funk and Muta destroyed their trophies lol

Meh, I was ready to shyt on this, as I think a lot of AEW is mediocre, and then I realized how absolutely dire WWE is, that ROH is out of business, MLW & NWA are pretty irrelevant, and Impact is basically a clown show.

So, by default, AEW is the best American fed

I would be like other cats and talk about Sasha/Bianca, but WWE makes it known that for every decent push they give them, they immediately take it right back, so I think a lot of fans have just grown hesitant to get too invested in any of their favorites because they know Cokeboy will just destroy it, eventually

You really over thought this one. PWI & AEW have a promotional relationship, AEW promotes their dead magazine, and in return PWI makes them look like a promising new company. Sloppy ass Britt winning 3 awards for the women and Sasha nor Bianca getting 1 was the biggest example.
