as of today they are at 6800 for Double or Nothing, i don't think they are selling 1 to 3 thousand tickets in 48 hours. Maybe they can do casino comps and fill it out by giving some last minute seats away.
Last year they had the same PPV in the much bigger T Mobile Arena and did 10,550
year before was also in T Mobile Arena and did 14,459
They did 10k last year at Tmo. They'll get a decent walk up cause it's Vegas on Memorial Day weekend.

These dudes undermine walkup sales. Tickets always go down in price as the event comes closer. AEW really should lower their prices tho. I saw the Forum seats up top are over $70 with fees. shyt is ridiculous.
DoN should crack close to 8k. Don’t think they get more. Card looks good too.

Last year they were shytty at building their storylines and now they improved. I didn’t even give a shyt about the pillars feud, but that was the only decent build; everything else was weak. On paper, This card looks much better than last year.

I’ll give them a C- at best. All Out 2021 was the peak for the company. I still say it’s one of the GOAT wresting ppvs ever.
It’s a shame to see how far it’s fallen in a short amount of time. I can’t even watch full episodes of AEW TV anymore…just clips to stay informed enough to know what’s going on leading up to the ppv.
I got burnt out on watching 20 min back and forth matches between top stars and mid card/jobbers. None of the storylines are good right now and the booking been atrocious.
I used to tune in weekly just for the fukkery, laugh and crack jokes but even that’s not fun to do anymore.

Only shockers were Mox beating D Bry in that tourney final and Punk winning the title right back from Mox
WWE ain’t any better in that regard tho recently. That’s one thing Vince excelled at, you legit had no idea who was winning a title match when he was in charge
MJF boring ass run that’s their longest world title reign
Still the highs outweigh the lows imo
Overall I think AEW one of the best things that happened to the business in the past decade

I think its interesting the amount of credit AEW is getting for WWE being better. I guess this is like receiving extra credit for tutoring a classmate, but you're at risk of failing your own tests.
I don't know what's more bizarre, that, or giving them credit for being number two when it's not especially close. Are they UFC-PFl/Bellator number two? NBA-Big3, or is it NFL-UFL?

All jokes aside, I don't think people realize that AEW is now the 3rd most successful North American promotion of all time behind WWF/WWE and JCP/WCW.
They far and away have eclipsed AWA, TNA, ROH, Mid-South, World Class, Florida, Memphis, CMLL and AAA.
If you stretch that to the entire existence of wrestling...
They are 4th all-time behind New Japan and they are likely ahead now of All Japan.
