I was 25 when I finally moved out. I moved out because my daughter was coming. If it wasn't for that, I would have probably saved up a couple more years and got a nice house.
I still live at home because i'm a d-boy. true story
i still live at home and im 27, sorry wont cop to the pc agenda of moving out and paying 900-1200 to live in some basement apartment or corny bachelor or apartment where i can live in nearly a 4,000 sq foot house with access to everything
The second i graduate im moving the hell out.
How can yall do this?
at wasting your youth living at home.
I dont think id move back even if it was rent free and I was paid 1200 a month. Dont get me wrong though, I had a great childhood.
You live out in the suburbs though so you don't really know what kind of experiences you're missing out on. Plus if you're happy living with your parents then save that money.
I personally don't like being told what to do or having people in my business so I pay for the privilege of my own spot. Being able to bring girls and friends over whenever I want is just a plus.
I'm sayin'...
Everyone struggles when they move out. That's part of life. I know the economy's fukked, but most of you sound like you don't even want to move out.
I couldn't wait to move out and when I did, there was no chance I'd ever go back. Even if things were HORRIBLE, I wouldn't be able to bring myself to do that. I'd find a way somehow.
I own a crib, couple whips and have a good ass job. I envy my 42 year old uncle who still lives with my grandma.
I still live at home with parents and I'm 26. I work full-time and I can move out anytime I want, but I chose to stay because rent is ridiculous in NYC and my parents are retiring in a year or two, in which case they will be moving to another state/country and the house will be mine. Whats the point of moving out to pay rent, when I'll own by default within two years. I'm just stackin bread in the meantime
I'm 22, in college. Got two semesters left, trying to get an internship.
Why?
His life is simple and easy. works a moderately easy manual labor job that pays like 14/hour. Does no chores. My granny does his laundry, cooks his food and keeps the house together. He's a handsome/in shape dude (nh) so he keeps bytches. Spends all his money on weed and cloths. It's essentially like he never left high school. Sounds like heaven.
Man, he's a 40 yr old dependent... That sounds horrible.
He has his own money. He just doesn't spend it on housing.
