I know you're not allowed to have your own opinion on black matters on this board...instead of trying to look at Both sides you just get called a cac...

Anyway, I'm a be honest. Im just being real. I got spankings with hands and belts growing up, so I been there.

Beating your kid with a belt or just beating them in general is not cool to me. To me it shows you ain't mentally capable enough to talk to your kid and explain consequences. If your kid is getting you mad enough to strike them you probably shouldn't be raising kids :yeshrug: you are a grown up, they are children.

I don't think beating your kid into fearing you is good parenting. Just my opinion though.

I know people will say "if you don't have kids you don't know/don't understand" which is absurd. We were all kids at one point who did fukked up and dumb shyt...at the time did you think you should of got beat for it?

I know parents get tired and angry and shyt, thats life...But beating the shyt out your kid because they are being kids aint finna help them in the long run. That shyt sticks with you and it becomes a vicious cycle that's why you got these dudes goin around beating up they girlfriends and shyt. They can't handle their emotions, they think being physical solves problems.

With all that said, AP can raise his kids how he wants. I just wish people could find a better way to punish their kids that isn't physically harming them.

Why use a belt when you can use your hand? Im a father and would never hit my child with objects. A spanking should do the job if you have already taught them and continue to teach them.

And yes i use to get the belt and wooden spoons and that shyt didnt stop me from being a bad ass kid. I just learned over time as i was growing up and shyt changed.

You gotta be careful, Did AP use the word beat? or did the individual who wrote the article?

No bullshyt, this thread talked up an ass whooping and it should have came one week ago. My 2yr old, basically just over a week ago she started taking off her diaper as soon as she takes a dump. And the 2nd time she did it she tried to poke eyes into it I guess. I didn't beat her ass but I told her mom I should so she don't do it again then shrugged it off while cleaning her up. Fast forward to thanksgiving and now a $100 area rug is in the trash and my little girl caught her first clubbing baby seal style (I wasn't home)

I'll update if she learned her lesson...

I would have consigned this before my first son was born but :stop: He was 3, he would catch the hand. The problem is that nikka was tough. To hurt him required me to hurt my own hand which is too gangsta :whoa: kids today go crazy without their electronics so that does a great job but if I had to discipline I know a belt is a better option (no buckle) than a hand.
