Man, I grew up in the church and was in the church choir. My siblings, cousins, and I also formed a small gospel group when we were younger. Had practices and everything, and would even sing for our church and on church travels, we’d be singing on the bus. One of my fondest memories was being the lead for the song “Oh Happy Day” for my church choir.

I just love hearing the church organs play.

My favorite artist of all time is Pimp C from UGK, and he’d incorporate those organs into his music. He grew up in the church as well, listening to gospel, and you could hear it in his sound.
