Is it disrespectful to say: The window has closed, the public support has collapsed and even pursuing it would come at the cost of other more politically attainable outcomes?

The best time to do it was directly after the Civil War. They were giving out reparations to the slave owners. Yep what’s really gonna happen is people are gonna wait go to emergency room file for bankruptcy and make the states eat the medical debt. The states will charge the Federal government and they’ll have to eat it our too many hospitals will go out of business this is why even 3rd world governments have some kind of single payer program.

As a fairly conservative guy I don’t like that but it makes too much sense, You have to truly hate poor people to be against that.

You could defenitely be some kind of travel agent for nikkas fukked up and in need of someone to walk them through getting decent treatment overseas.

You go to Two Rivers Mall in Nairobi or Agora Mall in Santo Domingo and there’s air ambulance services right there. They can literally pick you up in a helocopter

no reason why it can’t be done the other way.
