Draft always suck to yall.. what else is new. If yall never seen em on TV, its not a good pick

Whatever..

Done with this thread..

Nah.
The Draft where we came away with Dak and Zeke were considered excellent as were the draft where we grabbed Chido and Jourdan Lewis. This draft reeks more of that Byron Jones draft. Why are we drafting a backup qb when we need safety help?

@Afrikanchurchboy

Jerruh is just insuring we don't get too many phantom "holding" calls. Expect 12 wins and at least a trip to the NFC championship game. Roger and Jerruh made up over some Johnny Walker :russ:

This draft sucks, I'm sorry to say. I like the 2nd round pick. 3rd round maybe solid. LVE may be decent, but considering we could have gotten Derwin James for maybe giving up a 4th, then it really makes you think. 4th round and on have been nonentities.

I can see why Witten retired. There's no way we are winning anything soon. No reason taking a beating for more 8 and 8 seasons.

I don't know nothing about the players drafted so far. :patrice:.

I only see two with a legit chance to start as rookies (LVE and Williams)

The tight end appears to be a younger version of Witten, so if Witten retires, I hope Gathers stays healthy and becomes the starter.

The wide receiver position is crowded so I will make a list
Austin - safe
Beasley - safe
Brown - not safe
Cannon - will get cut
Gallup - safe
Hurns - not safe
Lenoir - not safe
Switzer - safe
Thompson - safe
Williams - safe

So that's my 6 baring injuries in training camp/preseason.

Mike White will be a practice squad player.
Austin is a head scratcher and since he's being paid only 3 million, he's not safe either. Thompson also isn't safe as he's only being paid 1 million.

Gallup, Hurns, and Switzer are safe. The rest are in trouble. I truly see Beasley and Williams not being on this roster come Week 1. One could definitely be traded. Williams suffered an injury. Dallas may just move on from him. I will say if Austin does make it, him being a receiver is not automatic either since they want to use him differently. So that helps Brown who they like.

This front office has got us Dak, Xavier Woods, Anthony Brown, Kavon Frazier, Damien Wilson, Geoff Swaim, & Anthony Hitchens on day 3 the last few years.

Been some misses too, but that's not bad for day 3 picks. A franchise QB, 3 potential starters in the secondary, a starting LB, and backup LB & TE.

All these WR acquisitions and not one pickup to address DT
I think their feeling is they want like Collins at 1 Tech and Irving at 3 tech. With all these new DE's, they can slide Crawford back to DT and Price is another rotational player. I don't like it. But I bet that their feeling. I really wanted Vita Vea in this draft but no chance they trade up there.

As far as WR, it's obvious they didn't care for the WR corp last year. Dez and Butler aren't the only ones leaving.
