I don't agree with the 10-minute quarter's idea, but people have complained so much about the game that they have him scrambling for ideas and then getting mad at him for testing the waters:mjlol: .

I feel like the people who constantly complain about the state of the NBA, claiming it's boring, or games taking too long, etc, might need to ask themselves if they really like the sport of basketball because, after a certain point, there's not much else that can be done to satisfy them, too many modifications of the sport deprecates the integrity of the game.

A lot of these NBA critics truly sound like they're just not really big on the sport of basketball as much as they believe themselves to be.

These critics start to sound like they're not really big on basketball.

I didn't know that David Stern was so.loved.

This is ridiculous.

He really think people are sitting around and not watching because 12 minutes quarters are too long :heh:

How about lower the amount of ad breaks if he’s concerned about time .
Well, yes, it's been proven the younger generations have shorter attention spans, hence why a certain portion of them only check game highlights. Not to mention, with all the entertainment we have available now, making games shorter will naturally get more folks to actually watch games in their entirety, if only by placebo effect.

Not that I necessarily agree/disagree with reducing the minutes, but it is a common gripe that games are too long.
Better yet..make the game better and maybe those who are not watching may check it out :jbhmm:
There are no fundamental measures that can be taken to make those who don't watch the game suddenly start to watch the game (again).

The game that they so desire isn't coming back.
