I have heard this take everywhere recently and I cant rock with it. People who are motivated enough to watch Inside the NBA arent the viewership audience they are losing. People who watch Inside the NBA are more than likely already watching some games.

They are losing the very casual audience that tunes into marquee events and its because they dont have compelling (new) superstars or rivalries that draw that general attention. Was Inside the NBA providing high end analysis when the NBA was doing better a decade ago? It was the exact same product then too.
Ehh. Shaq and Charles are key in pushing negative narratives that are polluting the league. "The league is boring; it's always the same teams that are at the top, these players are soft, etc."

For the first time in years I haven't bothered checking it out. First its on valentines weekend so I have other priorities. By the time i'm now thinking about going to watch it and I see the clips of the foolishness online im :mjcry: cause i might not even bother watching it at all. No ones coming out for the dunk contest, stupid ass formats where we don't even get to see shyt like rookies vs sophomores play a full game so we can argue about which class is better. All the extra stuff like Kevin Hart. The stoppages. The broadcast group inside the nba shytting on everyone.

This isn't the players fault. The league is being mismanaged.

I haven't watched an all-star game since Magic Johnson came back from retirement. Old timers complaining about new players not competing hard enough is lame. It's never been a competitive game. All I care about is refs letting defenders play physical in the playoffs, and enforcing carrying/traveling. It would be nice if the refs allowed physicality in the regular season, but there's too many guys on half billion dollar contracts to risk more injury.

Current NBA and former NBA nikkas have said that a million would give em a reason to hoop .

If you got a quality product afterwards, it'd be an indictment on every player for actively not caring despite being the highest paid generation of NBA players ever.

Collectively, this generation of NBA talent doesn't value winning....At every level they've played at, winning simply doesn't matter... only thing that does is increasing your stock for the next level.
