Do you think a remedy exists to prevent early trade details?

I think adam silver should focus more on the current trend of players sitting out multiple games during a season more so than players being traded around
He talked about this and even called our people from the Spurs by name.

Lol what is silver gonna do? Penalize players for asking for trades in the media? NBAPA would never agree to that. And the fact that teams can trade players at anytime shows the hypocrisy of the situation.
Teams cant cut players unless specific circumstances , they have guaranteed contracts. Players have all the power in the nba, a team trading a player is the only way they can get off of guaranteed deals.

So the NBA can operate and generate revenue with just the league office and the owners? Why even have collective bargain if the players are not partners, just pay the players whatever and keep 90% of the revenue and fire them at will if they don’t want to play. They should hire you to run the NBA(a private association btw)
There isn’t a business in the world that can operate without its workforce. Even the referees are in a union bro and they’re highly replaceable. The fact that athletes are in a union is not evidence of them not being employees. They’re employees with leverage. NBA players aren’t exercising any rights a postal worker union member doesn’t

NBA owners want that NFL level of control over player. Non guarantee contracts, revenue sharing to go in their favor, and heavy penalty anything that they don't like...

NBA owners can't play the field NFL does where all they have to do is cater to bottom of the roster that has 60% of the voting power, because salary scale is so loopside in the NFL. NBA voting power is pretty even among the salary scale. I'm not sure players will win a lockout now, tho. They are fighting against billionaires now that can outlast any lookout.

It's going to be interesting. The richers owners get....worse for the players in the long run when it comes to CBA.
