OK.....you judged McKay's ability to make "Ant-Man" a good film based on his pre-Marvel work....
....I posted the pre-Marvel work of a different director team....a director team who just made a GREAT fukking superhero movie...

The questionw as about McKay, not some other team; just because other people can do multiple genres does not mean he can. That was your big "connect the dots" thing? So clever
My point is that Marvel has REPEATEDLY taken directors with no action/superhero/blockbuster experience and seen them put out very good films.
Jon Favreau went from Made and Elf to Iron Man
Joss Whedon went from Buffy the Vampire Slayer to THE AVENGERS
Shane Black went from Kiss, Kiss, Bang, Bang to Iron Man 3
So maybe we shouldn't jump to conclusions based on McKay's previous work.

Adam McKay or whoever finally gets this gig is just going to be a figurehead, they won't be allowed to actually bring anything to the film since Wright did all the set-up and Marvel has a vision of how the film is going to go and is adamant about getting it out by the established release date.
There will be less creative freedom on this movie than is already allowed by Marvel Studios.
