There's a part of that thinks it was set up for the Lakers to repeat against a 5th seed and make everybody mad again.
Another part of me thinks @2Quik4UHoes is right that AD might have torn his Achilles if he played a long post-season.

Its some deficiencies on our side, but as far as I know there ain’t no goeptugrgue papaowosul type nikkaz on the team.
