Nah he deserves this smoke...

He's just 30 and in his 11th year. He should be smack in the middle of his prime. Instead this nikka disappeared this series, don't give me the stats. We saw the games. There is a major fukking gap between he and Jokic, it's embarrassing. It's not embarrassing to lose but it's embarrassing to lose when you get undressed the way he did by the opponent's best player...

Dudes will come in here on some Anti-Bron shyt, but this man's career is forgettable without Bron. We've seen enough to know who Davis is...

Just pathetic the way Jokic washed this nikka this series...

He is what he is and has been for a while. That level he reached in his first playoff series against the Warriors is what was expected out of him going forward. And no doubt he has gaudy stats and is a first ballot Hall of Famer. But he should have been so much more. A lot had to do with the injuries and some had to do with listening to the critics and trying to shoot jumpers instead of trying to be more like Duncan instead of KG. But mostly it's his lack of game to game focus and will to be the best every night. It's only his fault that Giannis and Joker surpassed him years ago when many thought he would one day become the best player in the league. And every year that Bron plays is another year AD gets older and probably more injury prone. So do you really want to hinge your future on that in a couple of years though they probably won't have a choice.

I remember the 2015 series vs Golden State when he was with The Pelicans, they lost but he looked special. Thought he was about to dominate for the next decade, looked like had everything, he does have everything but the intagibles at the very highest level are just not there; repeated minor injuries, lack of consistency, settles for jump shots when he should be unguardable in the paint. Not a lakers fan but it's annoying to watch him, doesn't seem to want it badly enough.

Why doesn't Bron make AD better? I remember a time one of the most prominent narratives from Bron fans and media was that he made his teammates better whereas a certain other star didnt....
Kyrie Irving played the best basketball of his career both statistically and in terms of winning with LeBron James but y’all seem to gloss over this time and time again because it doesn’t fit the narrative.

LeBron makes his teammates “worse” and yet all of the stars he’s left have never accomplished anything notable after his departure.

Bosh and AD never had any postseason success. Kyrie and Love had 0 playoff appearances pre LeBron. Now they all have rings. And have never come close to that since he’s left. Is there any more tangible measurement of making someone better than that?

Humor me, who did Kobe ever make better? Y’all brought in Nash and prime Dwight and were WOAT tier. Or do you have amnesia? :dead:

:mjlol: let everyone know you dont watch basketball brehs

Several stars have regressed as players under Bron. Couldn't get his style to fit with Bosh or Love. Whereas Shaq, Pau, LO and Bynum all had their best and most productive, consistent years under Kobe and all fit perfectly within the triangle offense with him. :umad:

Lakers had a top 10 offensive rating in the NBA for damn near Kobe's entire pre-achilles run and that includes the year we missed the playoffs and the 06/07 1st round loss years. Even when he had trash teammates, Kobe was leading efficient offenses. Half of the seasons in Bron's career his teams offensive rating has been average or trash. If Kobe isnt making his teammates better how was he running such efficient offenses year after year?

Yall got bamboozled into thinking Bron was some offensive genius who makes everyone around him better. The reality is, he's a great player with a great mind and a high IQ, but on the flip side he forces a lot of players out of their natural play style and position and thaty has led to some of his co-stars regressing. He's also led some pretty inefficient offenses in his career especially on the LAkers.

Kyrie is the only star who blossomed with Bron, not gonna dispute that :manny: That's why a lot of folks wanna see them reunited.

Paus numbers and production were basically the same as Memphis or worse depending on what year of that Lakers run you’re looking at. But he won more, and LA exposure got him All Star nods he deserved even back in Memphis.

Love and Bosh’s numbers shrunk because they were third options. Expecting the least talented guy in a big 3, to still be putting up 25+ ppg with 2 other ball dominant players (Wade/Kyrie and Bron) is asinine. LeBron had very little to do with that. That’s the natural pecking order. Ultimately, they accomplished more basketball success with him than they ever did without him.

As I said, Kyrie played his best basketball statistically and in terms of winning with LeBron. Low key, as much as we shyt on him, so has AD. This year and 2020 were his two of his 3 best individual seasons and also his most postseason success (championship, WCF.)m

So again, what’s the narrative here? Every superstar second option LeBron has played with has ate statistically and won rings.

And I can’t believe you brought up Odom and Bynum in a conversation about superstar teammates. Kobe stans so desperate. :dead:
