Of course the ATL
Me too brah. Sweetwater 420. They didn't expect us to be here remember? :mjcry:

I hate to sound like the typical Atlanta fan but I'm happy even tho I'm disappointed. I didn't expect much to start this year and even with the playoffs I didn't look at this roster as a team that could seriously compete. We know we need at least 1-2 All Star caliber starting pitchers, more hitting from the catcher and RF positions and bullpen depth.

Because of the moves AA made last winter and this season we've got the money to be aggressive in the Winter Meetings and offseason to get the depth we need

At some point tho we will need a better manager...Snit is a hellavu guy and a great person but he's not a championship level manager. That's why the Braves have been so reluctant to lock him up long term b/c his limitations as a manager hold this franchise back

Yeah a better manager is crucial. He is getting outclassed something serious this series. And I agree about the catcher position as well, hence why I was surprised they were in a rush to extend Flowers. Thing is will we spend the money needed to really become a contender? You can't do it through the farm system these days.

I said yesterday, If there was any game for the Braves to steal it was game one.

I'm happy with how this season turned out for the Braves they over succeed expectation they had this season
they have a bright future.

And I'll say it again, we won't ever win shyt as Freddie Freeman as our cornerstone player. Glad Acuna is here now but we need another stud on offense.

I think Freddie will be the ''Derek Jeter'' of the Braves, Great marketable guy
but never the best player on the team

You've gotta keep it in perspective though...the Dodgers are a much more talented team than the Braves. I don't feel he's been outclassed as much as we're just not on the same level as LA as a whole.

Flow is a good value signing, Suzuki probably isn't coming back and you can go after a young catcher with pop like Realmuto from the Marlins who's a FA after this yr

Braves have the #1 farm system in baseball...they've gotten back to the postseason off of the strength of that system so I do feel you can win through the farm system, but we do need upgrades. We'll have the money to spend this offseason, hopefully AA spends it wisely

Ron Washington is our best manager. It always irks me when the assistant is our best manager by a mile
