Dansby byke, Bautista out
I think we should go after a top tier veteran starting pitcher at some point. Teheran looking kinda flabby in the last couple of outings
But prior to that he had only given up 4 ER in previoius 29 innings pitched
I'm just afraid he's gonna revert back to last season's form

Teheran is what he is. He's a middle of the rotation starter who has flashes every now and then. Our current rotation is
Newcomb
Teheran
Flahrety
Folty
Soroka
@TheGreatShowtime yes we do need a front of the line starter, probably 2.
For some reason, Teheran sucks at SunTrust Park. Most of his terrible outings last year were at home. I don't understand it.I think we should go after a top tier veteran starting pitcher at some point. Teheran looking kinda flabby in the last couple of outings

Braves really need some of these pitching prospects to pan out. I'd rather see the young guys develop than have to make a trade.
I honestly don't know if just adding an ace would put Atlanta over the top. There's some highly touted guys still in the minors. I'm sure @Kaedus could give you a better breakdown on our pitching prospects than I can. One guy I'm looking forward to watching is Touki Toussaint.I think Newcomb and Foltynewicz have the potential to be good, but I can't see either of them being the #1 starter. Teheran isn't a legitimate ace either. He's shown flashes, but I don't have confidence in him to keep it together for an entire season. We don't really have a guy ready to go in the farm system that can be an ace this team needs right now either. Come playoff time, assuming we can keep playing at this level, we're going to need someone like how the Astros needed Verlander last year to put them over
